...a country type reader.
Spending time reading is an everyday thing for me still, despite my part time job, full time school and obsessive compulsive personality. Recently I have enjoyed and wanted to share A Glass Castle with everyone. It is one of those feel good inspiring books that is TRUE and also involves homeless people. I have also been read The Day No Pigs Would Die, which was interesting...and strange, The Ox-Bow Incident which is supposed to be an example of great western writing, and The Stranger, which is a French translation that really reminds me of Emmanuel Levinas, who was also French, so that was interesting. I just realized that all these books have a sort of countryside feel/setting. I think I am going to put on my Wrangler Xmas music and get my self to school, after finishing my chores (which thankfully don't involve animals or tromping through snow).
