...a country type reader.

Spending time reading is an everyday thing for me still, despite my part time job, full time school and obsessive compulsive personality. Recently I have enjoyed and wanted to share A Glass Castle with everyone. It is one of those feel good inspiring books that is TRUE and also involves homeless people. I have also been read The Day No Pigs Would Die, which was interesting...and strange, The Ox-Bow Incident which is supposed to be an example of great western writing, and The Stranger, which is a French translation that really reminds me of Emmanuel Levinas, who was also French, so that was interesting. I just realized that all these books have a sort of countryside feel/setting. I think I am going to put on my Wrangler Xmas music and get my self to school, after finishing my chores (which thankfully don't involve animals or tromping through snow).

...Etta Place.

"Facts regarding Etta are few. Eyewitnesses maintain she was the second woman to ride into the Butch and Sundance hideaway in southern Utah known as the Robbers Roost in the winter of 1896-97. She was allegedly 20 years old at the time. She was strikingly beautiful, an excellent horsewoman and an outstanding rifle shot. She was became Harry Longbaughs (the Sundance Kids) primary love interest, and went to South America with Sundance and Butch, returning to the U.S. three times during her tenure in Argentina and Bolivia."

I have always loved Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. (Biographies read: 3)

I have a feeling that Etta might be into some of the same things that have been on my mind recently. And also listen to "Criminal" by Fiona Apple non-stop. Criminal outfit:

...a procrastinator.

We both know this is not new, not unusual, not unexpected. I have about a test a week this semester and so I am constantly procrastinating. One of my favorite ways to do this is to play Scrabble. Since my favorite Scrabble player is missing; the only option left to me is shopping on jcrew.com. It is a tough job but someone has to do it. In the last month I have procrastinated my way into:

Not a bad mix of winter apparel if I say so myself. Now all I have to resist are these beauties:

Oh, and ace my Nutrition exam. Wish me luck!
